In a Musician's Friend interview, Lzzy Hale discusses using the Dunlop JC95 Jerry Cantrell Signature Cry Baby wah pedal in her home studio. She mentions its touch-sensitive activation, which suits her style, especially when wearing heels. The pedal is visible at the 0:41 mark in the video.
This is her main guitar she uses most of the time and can be seen throughout the video for demos with pedals.
For Gibson interview, Hale said. “I have a lot of Gibson guitars. I have more than I deserve, probably. I originally chose the Explorer because it stood out. The reason I started playing guitar to start with was to stand out from the other acts where I was from. My signature guitar is a great instrument, but a Gibson guitar is more than that. It’s about the style and the imagery and the lifestyle. It’s a statement, part of my identity. And that’s all part of being in a rock and roll band.”
