Rusty Anderson's Gear
“I have a lot of amps, but right here’s a Vox AC30 head from 1965, and then there’s Divided By 13 915. Under that is an early ‘70s Marshall Super Bass, and last but not least, a Laney Supergroup from the early ‘70s.”
This ampis Rusty's signature model. In this video he can be seen playing a Danelectro guitar through his BTR23 in natural finish. The RSA23 made its debut a few years back as Rusty Andersons signature amp and is available as a head only or as a combo.
@rustyanderson1 hey Rusty, you played this guitar a lot in Amsterdam. Is it a Danelectro?
Answer:
@bramopdencamp it's a '61 Silvertone, made by Danelectro.

"Yeah, that’s really cool. I use it mostly for quirky sort of sounds, like if I want to get a special effect kind of sound. [Of course], you can use an equalizer to slightly shape [the sound as well], and I do that stuff, too."
