Music Radar interviews Edge's guitar tech Dallas Schoo in this article, and details his touring rig for 2009's "360° Tour." It lists the Bufferooster among his effects.

In this interview from the March 2015 issue of Premier Guitar magazine, Death by Audio pedal builder Oliver Ackermann indicates that the Edge owns a Total Sonic Annihilation unit.

The Edge uses the Shubb S1 Deluxe Guitar Capo for some U2 songs, such as "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," as shown in a user-uploaded photo from Shubb.

The Edge used the TC Electronic Dual Parametric Equalizer during the Zoo TV tour, as shown in the user-uploaded photo from A2athot. Other members have noted that he has used this in the 80's also.

The Edge used a standard Gretsch White Falcon to perform One Tree Hill on U2's The Joshua Tree 2017 tour. It can be seen on the screen at 5:12 in this video.

Edge's new signature Fender Stratocaster has a custom DiMarzio FS-1 in the bridge position. His FS-1 is unique because it has flat non-staggered pole pieces.

The Edge discussed this guitar in this Guitar World interview:

"GW 'Love and Peace…Or Else' is a pretty cool track. What are you doing to get that sound right before the solo? It almost sounds like you’re underwater.

THE EDGE The whole track is going through a filter, so it’s not just the guitar part. Yeah, the idea was one of rising to the surface. When it came time for the solo, though, I was careful not to be cliché. Playing a bluesy solo is loaded with clichés. I ended up using an acoustic guitar with a slide.

GW That’s an acoustic?

THE EDGE I swear to you. I tried playing it with an electric and it sounded so off-the-shelf. But miking up the acoustic really made the part stand out in a jarring way.

GW What kind of acoustic is it?

THE EDGE I believe it was an old J-200 Gibson. Very cool sound. I’m pretty proud of that."

Producer Declan Gaffney stated the following about the recording of No Line On The Horizon:

"We wanted to keep the recording setup small, so we just had a few microphones, a Control 24, Pro Tools, and three drives, so we could move easily and quickly between different songs. Other than Pro Tools, the recording setups for most of the sessions were pretty similar. Edge's old Neve desk was pulled apart for on-location recording, and its 1091 and 1093 mic preamps were racked. Everything was going through these mic pres, or a small Neve sidecar, then through any required outboard, and monitoring was via two Mackie 24-channel desks."

Custom Audio Electronics released this 2015 picture of The Edge's rack gear, which includes the SC-2.

While watching the documentary "It Might Get Loud" with Jack White, The Edge, and Jimmy Page, I noticed a scene that took place in what looked like The Edge's home studio (somewhere around the 35 minute mark). I took a screenshot of it and noticed the KRK V4 studio monitor speakers he was using. The documentary came out in 2008 so he may have upgraded since then.
