Roger Lima's Gear
These are the bass strings I use. @lessthanjake has been very fortunate to be part of the @ernieball family for a long time. Throwing out a huge THANK YOU for their support during all of the “Rockview” touring this year! You guys rule!!
Roger is seen playing Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling basses throughout his career. Colors used include transparent green/yellow with black pickguard, metallic purple with tortoiseshell pickguard, and transparent blue with mirror pickguard.
My first bass rig! This GK 400 and a Carvin 2x15 cab was used in all the recording up to Rockview, and survived years and years of constant van tours. Glad I’ve kept it around #bassplayer #basslicksonyourgrave #allaboutthatbass #bassinyourface @bassmagazinenow @gkeuofficial
I usually use my live bass rig (only two speaker cabs) but I have been known to use multiple amps at the same time to get a unique sound. I recently used a Marshall JCM 2000 guitar amp blended with my WT800 on a studio project.
When playing guitar for Rehasher he plays an LTD EC with an Evertune bridge
One of my Daisy Rock Elites made it onto some tracks!
This Squier strat is my main writing guitar. Not gunna lie. It was $50 on Craigslist. Some girl wanted to get rid of it because her ex-boyfriend had bought it for her
This @ernieball Cutlass is a beautiful bass I’ve been borrowing for a while. I did some studio tracking and jamming with it, played it at a handful of LTJ shows, and really like it, the feel is great, it would rule any P-bass type applications, and I would highly recommend it! (but not quite the right tone to replace my Sterlings.)
The Fender Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) P Bass can be seen in the background at the beginning of this video.
I am using an old school World Tour 800 as my main amp.
Roger Lima uses Eden D410XLT 4x10 Bass Cabinets, noting that there's a special synergy between these cabinets, his basses, and his amplifier setup. This is evident from a user-uploaded photo showing his gear.
Roger Lima mentions his first bass rig, featuring the Nacon GK-500 and a Carvin 2x15 cab, in a user-uploaded photo. This setup was integral to his recordings up to the "Rockview" album and endured through extensive touring.
my BEST bass amp was out of hiding today! won't take this one on tour!
Backline @fender 8x10 sounds pretty good with my @edenamps WT800! (most cabs do!!)
Day off! Here is a recent guitar pick!
$20 garage sale find, had to bring her home
The latest addition to my already ridiculous stash of guitars...thanks, @ESPGuitarsUSA
Ernie Ball Sterling HH bass with Custom paintjob by Jim Koch
"Sometimes, you gotta get a new kind of paintbrush. Córdoba Coco mini, welcome to The Moathouse" said Lima to his facebook page.
Lima shared a picture of his Japan-made Squier Stratocaster on his Twitter account. The guitar is in a HSS “Fatstrat” configuration

Roger Lima uses the Audix OM7 dynamic microphone for optimal vocal performance, as noted in an article on ProSoundWeb.
'02 LP Studio with Evertune and BB2s. Welcome to the #moathouse! Big thanks to Wes Lambe for installing the @evertune8 bridge
Here she is! '02 LP Studio with Evertune and BB2s. Welcome to the #moathouse! Big thanks to Wes Lambe for installing the @evertune8 bridge.
Roger Lima is shown using the Randall RM100 100W Modular Amp Head in an Instagram post by lessthanraj, where he refers to it as one of the "toys" he played with during a guitar tracking session.
One if my best weapons, out for rehashering today. Love playing this one!!
Roger Lima can be seen playing a red Gibson Flying V in a practice session photo posted by lessthanraj on Instagram, ahead of the tour with Reel Big Fish and Authority Zero.
Have I recently mentioned how much I love my practice rig
