I played with a hofner once in Houston, TX. I did not enjoy it. The tone was very thin.

To add a band, you need to hit SUBMIT, Music Artist or Band, then select BAND.

Once the band has been added to the site with pics and such, you can add that band under a musician.

My only suggestion would be an acoustic bass that I own. I don't dig hollow/semi-hollow tones.

It's expensive if you want it done right. You need a really end end needle, arm, and gears to truly enjoy the high grain masterpieces. We're talking 1200 minimum for an entry level music machine.

I knew a guy in Austin who worked for Best Buy and got crazy discounts on high end magnolia merchandise. He had a plush carpet room with amazing sofas and chair that faced a record player. 3D Surround sound system and a 10,000 record player. He put on Metallica's black album "Bigger, Louder, Better" or something. I think it was a 180 grain set. It moved me. I was actually teary eyed hearing music so perfectly. The guitars and bass all came from different speakers which made it so easy to separate their parts. The drum kick intro on "Of Wolf and Man" was so deep and 3-Dimensional. Sounded like the massive bass drum was coming from down a long tunnel and then right up to your face.

The # is finally crumbling. I think now's the time for me to buy a Wal.

I now download the songs on Amazon so I have them forever, and then burn them to a CD+R for the car.

I'd say Ibanez beat them to it with the SRC6. My friend changed the gauges and tuning and plays an SRC6 as an electric guitar now. Not my cup of tea. I was really disapointed in it's feel.

I did the other day, and its safe to say its odd really, I wasn't quite sure what to do, as you can't play bass stuff on it, the string spacing is too bad for good slap, or regular finger picking, and you can't really play guitar stuff either, chords sound muddy, and leads are just a little too low.

Are you asking about 6 string basses in general?

I watched every carpool karaoke yesterday. I love it. I wish they'd drop all that other stuff they do on that show and just do these.

I've not ever seen those kinds of submissions... but then again I only look at metal musicians and the fans are usually dedicated enough to have proof and such. ;)

With the Rumble, you would just turn the master volume down and you could play at lower volumes. Then, you could also reuse it for more than just practice.

Remember, 500 watts ain't exactly the same when going from guitar to bass. Going with bass gear ensures you can use everything you want with it. Going all guitar gear can limit what you play with it.

It's always better to have a multitasker. This amp would allow you to play bass or guitar through it, it's light enough to carry just about anywhere, and you'll get a good 500 watts to work with. You can pay about the same price for just a guitar amp and limit yourself, or, you can buy this beast.

In all seriousness though, people say a lot of bad things about the Peavey lines like the Bandit and Envoys but I really like the tone on an Envoy. I got one free with a craigslist deal and figured it was being giving away as a gift soon, but I dig it.

When I buy a 12'er, it usually lasts until the next morning. I drink a couple and then get tired almost now. I'll lay down and want to nap. If I drink 4 or 5, I get energy for some reason. I get antsy and want to do something.

LOL. The movie backfired. I LOVE old Christmas music, and I usually only WANT to celebrate Christmas in July for some reason. The movie started out with Nat King Cole singing and it put me in the mood to hear the whole song. I paused the movie, pulled up some seasonal music, and now that's all I want to do now. Burl Ives and Nat King Cole get me every time.

I did drugs just to pass the time and see how they effected me. A buddy of mine and I would study different drugs weeks before we got a hold of them and would try them in different doses. He used to by Salvia Divinorum 60x in bulk and have parties for it. Everyone would sit around the edge of a dark room and we'd watch them 1x1 experiment with it. My favorite was nitrous oxide. I bought 2, 40lbs. crates of medical grade 80cc cartridges and did a lot of experimenting with it alone until I figured out the perfect way to do it. If I ever need a dentist and need a procedure, I don't think I will be able to get gassed because of the use. I found drugs to make me anti-social mostly. I preferred to do them with just 1 close, trustworthy person or alone.

I was a $*#&head in my teens. I wanted control over my life and felt I had none. My only successful pull was refusing to do any work. I went 4 years without picking up a pen and just reading books or drawing. I would go back and fix that. If I had just seriously gone through college the first time I went, I would have had a masters degree by 23 and less than 30,000 in student loans... that's a very generous number too. My first semesters at Sul Ross were like 1200 each for 12 hours. Now I'm in a college, not a university like I was, and I'm racking up 10,000 a year. Just a huge waste of time. I started going to school seriously at 27 (I'm now 30).

I ended up getting a 12 pack of Heineken and rented "Kraumpus" from a redbox. I have my first date since my engagement on Sunday so, when the movies over, I REALLY need to clean my car and house up a bit.

I dunno. I feel I've fret-blocked a lot of people away from them in guitar stores :)

I'm so bored today. It's my first full day off. I'm thinking abut grabbing some beer but... then I need something to do while drinking. Not any movies I want to see out right now.

When I was a teenager, I wasted a lot of time on video games. I wish I had started playing seriously and more often then. Once 19 hit, it was 5 years of drugs and alcohol. People say this a lot, but I deeply, deeply mean it. I wish I could go back and be a kid again with what I know now.
