One was an early ’70s Fender Deluxe Reverb. I always use those live because I think they’re the sweet spot of low wattage, but they’re still loud enough. I have one that was modded to the ’60s pre-CBS blackface that I really dig. I can get a natural sort of overdrive out of that.

In this video you can se Quesada with a Fender 72 Telecaster Thinline, by the sound you can tell it has original cunife wide range humbuckers. The guitar seems to be a custom shop because the fretboard and neck has like toast maple and the Fender Bigsby tremolo. Really a great sounding and looking guitar!

We’re loving these @fender custom shop telecasters! Thanks to the amazing @javirelics @leediaz24 and the whole fender team.
I actually kind of stumbled onto it. They stopped making them. I don’t think they were very popular, so there’s not a lot of them, and they have developed something of a cult following. I picked that one off the wall at the Gibson showroom in Austin. I just thought it looked cool, took it and fell in love. And then it just became my guitar.

Hot off the press @fendercustomshop Thinline Tele with humbuckers by the genius of @javirelics, designed by us both - modeled after the first guitar I bought for $200 when I moved to Austin. Sounds as good as it looks, thank you @javirelics and @hadji224! Tune into @theblackpumas livestream tomorrow at 7 pm cst to hear it.
