Gem Archer's Gear
Gem Archer used Non-Reversed Firebirds during his time with Oasis.
First one, which was red, was used when Archer started out in the Oasis, around 2000. It also has been seen in performance of "Go Let It Out", which was the first performance of the particular song ever made. This performance happened at Jools Holland's 2000 Oasis performance. And it was also used in "Go Let It Out" music video. Also, this guitar was used on Wembley 2000 performance, again most notably for "Go Let It Out". He continued using this guitar, and it was also seen 8 years later, at the Wembley 2008 performance, most notably for "Cigarettes and Alcohol". This guitar was also used with Beady Eye - most notably for "Man Of Misery", which was performed on June 12, 2011. Of course, this is not the only performance and only song he played the Firebird. He also played it for "In The Bubble With A Bullet" live at Heineken Music Hall in 2011 and many more performances.
Anthony Chabala, administator of Gem Archer Gear, writes :
This vintage Gibson Non-Reverse Firebird has seen quite a bit of action over the years and seems to be Gem's "go-to" guitar. The only difference between what is in his hands now versus his Oasis days is the addition of chrome pickup covers on top of the Dimarzio humbuckers. He also added a "Bad Ass" bridge. Proudly, I have had the opportunity to have this guitar in my hands, and I found the neck to be slightly slimmer than that of my custom shop version of the same guitar.
Second one, tobaccoburst, was used during the modern days with Oasis, and it was used during Wembley 2008. concert, most notably for "Slide Away". About the tobaccoburst one, Gem Archer Gear writes :
This vintage Non-Reverse Firebird has also been seen in Gem's hands throughout the Oasis years and leading up to present day. It has three P-90 Soapbar pickups, and from my vantage point, Gem always plays it through the bridge pickup.
According to ex-Oasis guitarist Gem Archer in this Guitar World interview, he plays "through the Fender Deluxe and a VOX AC-30. One's for the top end of the sound and the other is for the body, and that's about it. I think the AC-30 is rented."

Just like Paul Weller gave Noel Gallagher his white Rickenbacker 330, and gave Steve Cradock his black Rickenbacker 330 featured on The Jam's single sleeves, Weller gave Gem Archer his Rickenbacker 360F following their acoustic tour together. Gem took this prized Rickenbacker to master craftsman Philppe Dubreuille because according to Philippe, "Gem loved the guitar, but he thought the neck was too thin. So I made him a custom guitar that looked and played similar, but with a Les Paul, baseball bat-like neck." As you can see, all the components are the same, but the body and neck are custom made to Gem's liking.
