This guitar has noise-cancelling Seymour Duncan pickups. It was used on Gerard Way's record, "Hesitant Alien", as well as on the Aquabats Super Show.

In this video. Ian talks about his Fender "Fry Sauce" Telecaster. He painted it orange and replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan pickups.

One of the guitars Fowles uses is the black Gibson Les Paul Standard. He sold his wine red Gibson LP Standard to buy this one. He used this guitar for the work of Sense Field and Further Seems Forever.

Also, the wine red one was later sold. Its headstock has been broken off three times- one time on the head of Michael Chapman.

"My ‘72 Silverface @fender Super Reverb amp. One of my all-time favorites. And in my opinion the Super Reverb is one of the best amps #Fender ever made. Amazing clean tones, crank it for breakup. Takes pedals like a champ, especially fuzz. This is the second one I’ve owned. First was a ‘68 that I got for super cheap in the 90’s but sold that to get a ‘68 Twin Reverb. Eventually sold the Twin to get an Orange, and so on and so on until I return back to this. Should never have sold the first one, but that’s the tone quest for you. It has some warping from a flood in the Aquabats office a few years back. Doesn’t matter. It still rips. It once started smoking while I was recording. Got it fixed and it sounded even better. It may have been owned by Fender historian/author Richard Smith. It has one weird mod on the intensity knob. It’s like my R2D2. Used this on the majority of my tracks on the Gerard Way record Hesitant Alien and on a bunch of Aquabats stuff. Great for studio and live. A bass guitar even sounds great through it.
