Description

Introducing the 14" K Custom Session HiHats, a phenomenal addition to your drum kit. These unique cymbals were meticulously designed in collaboration with world-renowned drummer Steve Gadd, emulating his distinctive and sought-after sound. With a medium-weight top and a medium-thin bottom, the 14" K Custom Session HiHats deliver not only a sharp, defined "chick," but also an exceptionally controlled foot feel. Versatile beyond measure, these cymbals are equally adept in a live gig or studio recording environment.

Each cymbal is individually cast from raw molten metal, made from Zildjian's secret alloy consisting of 80% copper and 20% tin, with traces of silver. This casting process, combined with a complex sequence of heating, rolling, shaping, hammering, and lathing techniques, provides a rich, full-bodied sound that improves with age. Whether you're grooving to contemporary tunes or laying down an intricate jazz fusion rhythm, the 14" K Custom Session HiHats are a must-have for any serious drummer.
