Description
Introducing the Zildjian K Custom Hybrid 14 1/4" HiHat Cymbals, a creative fusion of power, control, and versatile tonality. Designed in collaboration with renowned drummer Akira Jimbo, these cymbals blend traditional and modern elements to deliver a truly unique sound - a blend of darkness and brilliance.
The HiHat cymbals showcase an innovative brilliant/traditional surface delivering variant tones depending on the playing area. The inner half sports the unlathed, brilliant finish of the K Custom Ride, giving off a controlled sustain, making it perfect for both recording and live performances.
Hybrid Hammering technique is applied on these HiHat cymbals which results in reverse Mastersound grooves, hammered into the bottom of the cymbal from the opposite side. This unique crafting technique increases surface area contact, providing a warmer chick and wash than traditional hammering.
