Description
Experience the Unparalleled Sonic Quality of the Zildjian 18" K Custom Dark Crash
Crafted from the expertise of Zildjian, the 18" K Custom Dark Crash is a masterstroke in cymbal design, offering drummers a unique sound palette that stands out in any mix. It is part of Zildjian's highly-praised K Custom series, known for producing cymbals that strike the perfect balance between traditional finish and innovative hammering techniques.
The K Custom Dark Crash is characterized by its fast, bright attack and rapid decay, thanks to a special over-hammering process. This creates a heavier cymbal that responds like a lighter model, offering greater volume potential and richer overtones. Beneath its quick response is a robust, dark voice that adds depth and warmth to your kit without overpowering it.
Every stroke on the K Custom Dark Crash cymbal yields a full-bodied, dark tone with dry, trashy overtones that cut through the mix. This unique sonic signature gives drummers more control and nuance, enabling tighter, more rhythmically complex playing. The swift decay also allows for quick transitions, making it ideal for genres that demand both power and precision.
As with all K Custom cymbals, the Dark Crash is cast from B20 bronze, an alloy known for producing complex overtones. Finished with Zildjian's traditional lathing and hammering techniques, the K Custom Dark Crash exudes a distinct dark character that speaks volumes of its finesse and force.
