Agile AL-3XXX Custom
For those who don't know, Agile makes semi-custom versions of their models. I was able to snag a semi-custom AL (their version of the Les Paul) off of eBay three years ago. It was Tobacco/Desert Burst finish with a 3/4" flame maple cap, full 2" mahogany, double-bound body, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with MOP block inlays, amber knobs, gold Tune-o-Matic/stoptail bridge and gold Grovers. It was loaded with Seymour Duncan Blackouts as well. About 10lbs but so worth it. Sounded great, but then I replaced the Blackouts with brushed gold EMG 57/66 pair, gold knobs, and gold grover keystones, and it looks beautiful (not that it didn't before). This is my pride and joy and easily the one piece of gear I would not want to lose.
EDIT: I snagged a second sem-custom recently. It's got a blue flame finish, black hardware, a 22-fret maple fretboard with black block inlays, and a smooooth satin finish on the neck. This thing is a monster and it's heavy as hell too. It came stock with Alnico V pickups but I replaced them with a brushed black nickel EMG Het Set. It is currently set-up in C#/Drop B. I truly love how thick it sounds.
