For decades, Johnny Marr has been a force of creativity and skill in the music world, impressing audiences with his unique, jangly sound. Now, in collaboration with Fender, Marr brings you the Fender Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar in Olympic White, a guitar that embodies his musical journey and the iconic Jaguar design.

Probably my favourite inanimate object
Like many 30-something dads, I bought myself an electric guitar in an attempt to recapture the joy of playing music from my youth. This guitar has given me so much more than I expected. It's a truly beautiful piece of equipment and I'm still learning different characteristics of its sound a year later. I still get excited every time I take it out of its case and am happy to know I will be playing it for the rest of my life.
The high E string runs very close to the edge of the fretboard, so there are some positions where it can be more difficult to let it ring without muting it while fretting other strings, but it's a minor niggle which can be avoided with better hand position.
I have it in metallic orange and it's beautiful.

high e.... unfortunately because you have a model with the mustang saddles you can't replace and renotch the saddles like on a Gibson. Are you a firm neck gripper? If your hand is really floating there correctly it shouldn't be muting any strings even if they're close to the edge of the fretboard. You shouldn't be making contact with that part of the neck. Try adjusting your left hand position because short of switching bridge styles and maybe having the nut redone you're shit out of luck with this style saddle.

Yeah I just have bad technique. I'm slowly adjusting though, and it's rarely an issue anymore.

I love this guitar.
It's so nice to play and paired up with the flexibility of my Helix it gives me all those classic alternative eighties tones, from The Cure to Cocteau Twins to The Smiths (of course) and beyond.
My Main Guitar for Performance and Recording
I have been using this guitar exclusively for the past year. I love the Bare Knuckle pickups and found the updated controls a less intimidating approach to embracing a Jaguar. I'm also a big fan of the mustang bridge....what i find most appealing about the sound if this guitar is what I like to call "the unsettledness" of this bridge....it adds an unpredictable "twang, wobbliness" for lack of better words that fits in with the sound I'm looking for

Nice guitar, I like it a lot.
My friend and I both have Johnny Marr Jaguars, both Sherwood Green in colour. They sound amazing and they feel really good as well. This guitar is wonderful. It's one of those guitars that sounds brilliant plugged in but it also sounds amazing without an amp. I love the look of the Jaguars, I was first inspired to pick one up after seeing Billy Corgan, John Frusciante, Matt Skiba and Gavin Rossdale with them. The pickups sound like humbuckers so they don't have a lot of grit and noise like most single coils do. Mine is not beat up or worn out at all though my friend's one is a bit beat up.
