"Mi bajo es un viejo Fender que me acompaña hace tiempo. Tuve otros antes, pero este Jazz Bass de palo Precision está siempre conmigo. Lo uso cuando toco en vivo, cuando ensayo y cuando grabo. Hay dos motivos previos al sonido que me entrega: uno es la vibración de transferencia mecánica que recibe mi estómago cuando lo toco sin enchufar; el otro es la devolución rápida en calor que me da el palo en mi mano una vez que lo agarro. Primero me relaciono con la madera y luego con el sonido eléctrico, que también acepté."

Se trata de un bajo Jazz Bass del 63 al que le cambio el mastil por el del bajo Precision 59 que le vendio Rinaldo Rafanelli en la epoca de Sumo
