User experience

    Source
  • One owner noted the guitar arrived with minor headstock dings, possibly from truss rod adjustments, but considered these negligible.

Ghost Fret Review: Many players would be delighted to find a guitar like this... | Chapman Guitars | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Chapman Ghost Fret is a visually stunning guitar with commendable Passive Aggressive pickups, offering versatility in sound for genres like metal. However, the guitar's allure diminishes quickly due to numerous playability issues. The neck's thin C shape is awkward, resulting in uncomfortable action and significant neck dive. The scratchy volume knob and a perpetually loose tone knob further detract from its quality. Despite its beautiful finish, the guitar's durability is questionable, as it is prone to dings and dents. While offering good sound for its price, the Ghost Fret's lack of playability and build concerns overshadow its strengths, making it feel like a missed opportunity from Chapman Guitars.

The Chapman Ghost Fret is a well-crafted, versatile guitar that impresses with its excellent tones and solid playability. With a neck-thru design and high-quality materials, it offers stability and a beefy sound. The modern aesthetic, including glow-in-the-dark side dots and locking tuners, adds to its appeal. Though made in Korea, the fit and finish are top-notch, making it a great choice for those seeking a unique and adaptable instrument.

“As soon as I saw a Chapman I knew I had to own one of these guitars. The Ghost Fret pro’s sound as beautiful as they look, and personally feels like a custom model. The attention to detail is something to really admire, and make these guitars in my opinion, the best the UK has to offer"
