Description
Serious performance in a girl-rocker friendly package. The aesthetics of the 5-string Rock Candy Special Bass Guitar, with its girly color and star-shaped fingerboard inlays belie the fact that it's a really solid bass with fat low end. This Rock Candy Special Bass was designed with a girl in mind. But that girl better be prepared to rock. The mahogany body with solid quilted maple top, and rock maple/walnut neck give off just the kind of meaty riffs that make Melissa Auf der Maur a positive role model for aspiring female bassists. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 medium frets and is tapered allowing smaller hands to really find their groove on the bottom half. Two Select pickups by EMG with active EQ, and four chrome control knobs: Master volume, 12 dB Bass Cut/Boost, 12 dB Treble Cut/Boost, and Pickup Pan Pot allow you precision sound throughout the neck. Like the sugary confection it's named after, the Rock Candy Special is one tasty bass that'll entertain for hours.
