Review – Dean Custom Zone Bass in Nuclear Green | MikesGig.com

mikesgig.com

The Dean Guitars Custom Zone Bass in Nuclear Green defies expectations with its bold aesthetics and surprisingly high value for the price. It offers a smooth feel and impressive sound akin to a P-bass, making it a great contender for gigs after some initial setup adjustments. While it boasts a comfortable satin neck and functional hardware, minor issues like inconsistent fret heights and a low-cut nut slot require attention. Despite being available only in striking green or pink, this bass remains an incredible bargain under $300, providing both playability and inspiration.

Good bass, especially for the price

This guy is a probably the best bass in its price range. Output is alittle low, but can easily be fixed with a set of pickups. Built pretty well and stays in tune.
