Korean Hardtail
Feel: Plays smooth as butter. Its pretty heavy; I think I wouldve enjoyed a semi-HB verision better. Be sure to install straplocks. Sonically: Sound out of the box was decent but I decided to swap out the pickups for some Seymore Duncans and install 2 additional coil taps anyways for better fidelity and more variety. Visually: Great mass-produced factory-consistent craftsmanship. Nice body color choices available, but didn't like all the shiny chrome accents, so I switched the knobs and pickups for black to go with my blue tiger burst body. Problems: the neck isn't bolt-on or easily removable. But it's also not neck-thru-body which I would have preferred if the neck isn't detachable. All this means you probably don't want to shred on this guitar bc replacing a worn neck would either be a hassle or huge expense. Considering the potential neck replacement issue, I do not use this guitar for things like blues lead; instead, I only use this guitar for playing general rhythm guitar with chords and power chords.
