Description
Dive into the world of rock and metal with the Epiphone Rex Brown Thunderbird, a bass guitar crafted in honor of multi-instrumentalist Rex Brown, celebrated for his work with iconic metal bands Pantera and Down. This is the first signature model from Epiphone dedicated to the renowned musician, designed to bring his unique sound to your fingertips.
This bass is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, featuring a 9-ply neck-through-body mahogany and walnut neck with a comfortable C-Shape profile. The body wings are made of robust mahogany, ensuring a rich, warm tone. But what really gives this bass its distinctive sound are the Epiphone ProBucker TM 760 bass pickups. Encased in nickel covers, these pickups complement the all-gold hardware, adding a touch of elegance to the overall design.
The passive electronics include two volume controls and a master tone control, all fitted with smooth CTS@ potentiometers for precise adjustments. As a nod to its namesake, the gold pickguard bears the renowned Thunderbird logo while the back of the headstock is graced with Rex's signature. You'll also find a playful Rex Brown logo doodle on the rear control cover.
