Description

The Epiphone SG Bass is a nod to the iconic designs of the '60s, seamlessly blending vintage style with modern playability. This four-string beauty boasts a shorter 30.5-inch scale that not only makes it a breeze for beginners and guitarists with smaller hands but also enriches your playing with harmonic depth. The mahogany body and neck provide a solid foundation for rich, warm tones, perfect for bassists who want to cut through the mix with clarity and sustain.

Equipped with a Sidewinder humbucking pickup in the neck position, the SG Bass delivers a versatile sound palette that ranges from mellow warmth to powerful punch. Whether you're laying down the groove or taking center stage, this bass offers a tone that’s both organic and vintage-inspired. Its classic SG body style pays homage to the original Epiphone models that were favored by rock legends, ensuring you have a piece of musical history in your hands without the hefty price tag.

Key Features:

  • Four-string electric bass with classic "SG" body style
  • 30.5-inch short scale neck for enhanced playability and tone
  • Mahogany body and neck for rich sustain and warm bass response
  • Sidewinder humbucking pickup for versatile, vintage-inspired tones
  • Ideal for beginners and players with smaller hands, while offering professional sound quality

Great little bass!

Cannot go wrong with this lil' baby! It is around the same size as a regular electric guitar yet still packs all the punch of a full-sized bass and is very affordable too!

And there's an old Epiphone bass that I use that has no name, from the '60s, that I've recorded everything with through an old Ampeg Portaflex B-15 flip-top bass amp. Basically bass is always the Epiphone into the Portaflex.
