Description
The Fender Custom Shop Phil Lynott Signature Precision Bass Relic is a tribute to the legendary Thin Lizzy frontman. This limited-edition electric bass captures the essence of Lynott’s iconic style and sound. Crafted from a resonant 2-piece ash body, it delivers a perfect blend of brightness and warmth, making it ideal for both stage and studio. The hand-wound '78 split single-coil pickup ensures those signature fat, meaty tones that are synonymous with Lynott’s unforgettable bass lines.
The bass features a rock-solid, '75 "U"-shaped maple neck, providing a comfortable grip for any playing style. Its 3A rosewood fingerboard with 20 jumbo frets offers a smooth playing experience, allowing for effortless navigation across the fretboard. The Leo Quan Badass II bridge enhances attack, sustain, and clarity, ensuring every note resonates with precision.
Designed by renowned luthier John Cruz, the Phil Lynott Precision Bass is not just an instrument, but a piece of art. Its relic’d finish and mirrored pickguard echo Lynott's flamboyant stage presence, while the custom-made Anvil case and included accessories—such as a leather strap and mirrored sunglasses—complete the package with a nod to his iconic style.
