The HP ZBook 14 shows promise with its sleek design and excellent portability, but it falters under pressure. While the build quality and Full HD IPS display are commendable, the performance from the Intel Core i7-4600U and AMD FirePro M4100 GPU leaves much to be desired, particularly in demanding CAD applications. The limited opening angle of the display and crowded ports add frustration to an otherwise solid workstation. Battery life is a highlight, yet the high price tag and performance compromises make it hard to fully recommend this mobile workstation.
