Per this screenshot from a late-'90s interview Daft Punk provided to a Japanese publication, an Iomega Zip drive was used during the Homework era of recording and live performance. Nobody needs one of these in the present-day, but they provided affordable, reliable & ruggedized storage for live performance samples & other essential files in the era before 100GB of SSD could fit on a thumb drive.

In this Youtube video at 0:25, Kanye West can be seen using his Iomega Zip Drive. Judging by the shape of the little window, it is the 250mb version of the Iomega Zip Drive.

In an Instagram post by Paul Meany, an Iomega Zip Drive is visible in the setup, suggesting its use in his music production process.

Daniel Miller is listed as using the Iomega Zip Drive in his gear collection, as detailed in Sound On Sound.

In an article by Grace Fleisher on Dancing Astronaut, it is noted that DJ Koze uses an Iomega Zip Drive, which is seen atop his PG-800.

In a 2011 Facebook post titled "YSE - Studio lens," YSE is shown using an Iomega Zip Drive. It appears to be either the 100MB or 250MB model.

Paradox utilizes the Iomega Zip Drive to load samples into the Akai S3000XL sampler, as demonstrated at 6:09 in Groovin in G's YouTube video titled "Paradox DnB Production Breakdown Pt.1 - Releases, Sampling, Quantising."
