Description

The Landscape.fm HC-TT v2 is a creative leap into the world of analog sound manipulation, designed for musicians and sound explorers who crave tactile interaction with their audio. This human-controlled tape transport allows you to manually scrub and scratch cassette tapes, giving birth to rich, unpredictable lo-fi textures reminiscent of the early days of tape experimentation. Unlike traditional tape decks, the HC-TT v2 foregoes a motor, placing the entire journey of sound directly in your hands with its large playback knobs. These knobs let you play a cassette forwards and backwards, crafting an experience akin to scratching vinyl records, but with the added depth of analog tape.

The HC-TT v2 doesn't just stop at tape manipulation—it seamlessly integrates with modular synth setups. By outputting CV/Gate signals derived from your cassette manipulations, it becomes a powerful tool for live performance and sound design. Engage with the momentary mute touch plate for dynamic silences or explore the Half Moon and Full Moon touch plates for additional sonic interactions. Feed audio back into the preamp for textured feedback loops, and shape your sound further with the Gain and Tone controls for a customizable lo-fi bass cut/boost.

Included with your purchase is COUNTERCLOCKWISE, an open-source sample compilation cassette featuring various artists, providing an instant reservoir of sound to experiment with. The HC-TT v2 is more than just a tape deck; it's an instrument of discovery for the modern musician.
