The Orpheus Bass VI – Erik Bickerstaffe Signature Model is a custom-built six-string Bass VI/baritone hybrid developed by Liverpool-based guitar builder Lothario Guitars in collaboration with Erik Bickerstaffe of the band Loathe. Designed for the atmospheric, heavy textures heard in modern metal, shoegaze, and alternative music, it features a 29-inch scale length that sits between a traditional guitar and bass. The instrument combines premium tonewoods, custom electronics, and high-end hardware to deliver deep low-end response while retaining guitar-like playability. Its distinctive aesthetic includes a holographic logo, American black walnut top, and gold EVO frets.
