A Machine of a Guitar
The ESP LTD EC-1000T/CTM with EMGs is helluva guitar. Unlike most Eclipses in ESP's lines, the EC-1000 CTM is full thickness at 2", double bound mahogany body, and has 22 frets on an ebony fingerboard with XJ frets and a thin U-shaped neck. It's got a Tone-Pros locking TOM bridge, and comes stock with ESP locking tuners and the EMG 81/60 combo. In that state it's a beast of a guitar, but for my personal axe I added Sperzel locking tuners and Seymour Duncan Blackouts I. It screamssss. It's fastttt. And it just sounds fat. It's definitely a great copy of that other tuxedo single cut, and could be argued that it's the best version of it that is not the real thing. I definitely think so.
