Description
The ESP LTD Viper-400 is a formidable fusion of style, comfort, and sonic versatility, perfect for the modern rock or metal guitarist. Its iconic, aggressive double-cutaway body style not only makes a bold visual statement but also provides exceptional access to the upper frets, making it a guitarist's dream for blistering solos or complex riffs. Crafted from lightweight mahogany, the Viper-400 offers a rich and resonant tone with a solid foundation of full-bodied sound.
At the heart of its powerhouse performance are the Seymour Duncan JB and '59 humbuckers, revered for their tonal versatility. The '59 neck pickup delivers creamy, vintage-inspired tones with a smooth top end that's ideal for clean or overdriven sounds. Complementing this is the JB bridge pickup, offering a hotter output perfect for driving amps hard and delivering tight, punchy sounds that cut through any mix.
The Viper-400's slender, Thin "U" mahogany neck is designed for speed and precision, featuring a pau ferro fingerboard that adds a stylish touch and enhances articulation. With a TOM bridge and Grover tuners, this guitar ensures rock-solid tuning stability, allowing you to focus solely on your performance.
For those who crave an instrument that's as visually striking as it is musically dynamic, the ESP LTD Viper-400 doesn't just play music; it commands the stage.

Bad ass guitar right here!
This thing is a ferocious man eating viking instrument. If every headbanger was issued an electric lightning bolt machine gun, it would look and sound like ESP's LTD Viper-400. String this up with a set of slinky to heavy strings and your well on your way to sounding horribly terrible. Those EMG pickups sound like a stuck bleeding wild bore coming at you.
