Great sound and versatile tone switching.
Having had a couple of other bass amps that were both heavier than something really, really heavy, I decided to try the Fender Rumble 500 and I haven't looked back!
The amp is really light but very well built, with 2x10 Eminence speakers. It puts out 350 watts at 8 Ohms... or you can plug in an extension cab for a thunderous 500 watts at 4 Ohms. Four band EQ and three preset tone switches (that can be used individually or in combination) gives you a really versatile tonal pallette; the preset buttons are named Bright, Contour and Vintage. (I tend to use Bright and Vintage together.) There is also a switchable overdrive with its own gain knob.
On the back it has a horn on/off switch (always off, for me) as well as fx send and return, aux in, phones and footswitch. All this makes it a tremendously versatile bass amp for home use...and it's perfect for rehearsals and gigs, because it has plenty of volume and load in and out is a breeze, due to the light weight. (Looks killer on-stage, too, with the silver grille and Fender logo.)
If you're in the market for a new bass amp, definitely check it out!

An unbelieveably lightweight powerhouse!
Bought my Fender Rumble 500 combo only recently (September '21). It's hard to believe that such a lightweight combo can exude such a mighty output of sound! A must-have for bassists who want a combo with plenty of punch, but are fatigued by the burden of lugging a heavy bass cabinet from place to place. Also, I love its classic Fender look, and it's surprisingly affordable, considering what the this bass combo has to offer as far as the tone-shaping possiblititiesit offers.

ULTRA lightweight and loud as hell, bring that Fender, overly clean tone with it. Best gigging combo out there.
I use it for gigs and auditions. I know it will overshadow a drummer if needed and it wont break my back getting it there.
There are magnets in the corners so if you pair it with other Rumble V3 equipment, it will automatically latch on and keep it straight.

Light and LOUD
This thing... tone for MONTHS, y'all. I'm especially fond of the Vintage preset. It's more than enough, by itself, for a club gig. You won't crack your back carrying it up the stairs, either; it weighs only 36 lbs (16.3kg), which is HALF the weight of my Rumble 150 v2 (now retired). Worth every penny.
