Description

Marshall 1960AX and 1960BX 100W 4x12 Full-Stack Cabinet - Grey checkered Basketweave

Get that smooth sound with these 100w 4x12’s. The four Celestion G12M-25 Greenbacks are voiced with a mid-range punch and beautifully detailed highs. With less headroom, the speakers gently break up the sound giving the overdrive more depth.

Available in both straight and angled forms to create the perfect Marshall Stack.

Striking looks – the chequered 70’s grill cloth gives off cool retro vibes that will look great on stage and finished with gold beading and piping.

We analyzed real musician discussions from forums and Reddit to find what players love, question, and tweak about Marshall 1960AX and 1960BX (Full-Stack).

Setup and maintenance

  • The DSL amp's dual 4/8 ohm parallel jacks may have output issues if cabs work individually on 16 ohms but not together.

    Source

Features and functionality

  • The 1960A cab's mono setting requires careful attention to input selection on the back to align with the amp's impedance settings.

    Source
  • The 16 ohm output on the amp head operates independently, without a toggle switch, unlike the dual 4/8 ohm parallel jacks.

    Source

User experience

  • Using a cab management device like the Palmer Cab Manager can simplify impedance matching, offering 8 ohm input to dual 16 ohm outputs for stacking.
