Nakamichi CR-1A Review – One Of My Favorite Vintage Cassette Decks

foreveranalog.net

The Nakamichi CR-1A vintage cassette deck is lauded for its outstanding playback quality, often rivaling that of more expensive models. Users appreciate its ability to handle a variety of cassette types and the inclusion of Dolby noise reduction, even if the latter isn't always favored by the reviewer. The deck is praised for its quiet operation and impressive sound clarity, drawing comparisons to CD quality. However, potential buyers should be aware of common maintenance issues like belt replacements and motor cleaning. Despite minor annoyances, such as the odd placement of the power button, the CR-1A is recommended for those starting their cassette journey or seeking quality without breaking the bank.

Probably the best piece of music hardware that I own.

AMAZING Recordings and sound. I could go on for hours about how I love this deck. The ONE Issue is that it doesn't have AUX Jack volume control. 9.8/10 DECK BY FAR. THANKS NAKAMICHI <3
