Description
Introducing the Orange Bass Butler Bi-amp Bass Preamp, a compact solution to your pursuit of the perfect bass tone. This innovative pedal employs the concept of bi-amping, a practice once reserved for rock 'n' roll royalty, which sends a bass guitar signal to both a bass amp and a guitar amp simultaneously. The result is a deep, clean, and defined low end, coupled with separately amplified mids and top end for precision control. Now, thanks to the Bass Butler, you can enjoy this enormous tone without the need for an extensive, complicated rig.
The Bass Butler is not just an amp-in-a-box pedal. It's a complete gear van-load in a box. It splits your signal at the input into two entirely separate, parallel, analog signal chains, mimicking a real bi-amp rig, but without a sight of an amp.
Key Features:
- Bass Channel: Always-on with controls for Compression, Bass, Treble, and Volume. It features an optical compressor circuit, cut/boost tone controls, and a dedicated bass-cabinet-simulated balanced D.I. output, serving up a range of classic clean tones.
- Guitar Channel: A classic high-gain channel that can be summoned with a kick of the footswitch, offering everything from bright vintage tones to modern destruction. It comes with a guitar-cab-simulated balanced D.I. output and an expression pedal jack for extra control over the input gain.
- Direct Outputs: Two individual XLR outputs from the two separate channels, allowing your Bi-Amp bass tone to reach the mixing desk with a simple blend to taste. A Ground Lift switch is included to solve any ground loop issues.
- Amp Output: A blend of the two channels before the cabinet simulation circuits from a 1/4" jack, perfect for connecting to any bass amp. The blend is controlled by the channel volume controls, so you can manage your on-stage sound independently.
- Top-Tier Quality: Built to last with a sturdy steel enclosure and 18V DC power for high headroom. This pedal is ready for the road and a lifetime of service.

"The Bass Butler sounds awesome with my amp, as well as with my studio speakers. It'll be interesting to give it a go connected to a PA, if it works how I think it will this might just change everything for sound engineers! Instead of mic's and DI-boxes, I'll have two lines of awesome Orange sound on stage!" - @enslavedofficial's Grutle Kjellson
