Radial Tonebone Bassbone V2 Pedal | Bass Gear Magazine

bassgearmag.com

The Radial Tonebone Bassbone V2 is a versatile powerhouse for gigging bassists, offering seamless switching between instruments and tones. Its parallel effects loop, blendable with clean tones, and high-pass filter options are standout features. The pedal’s robust build and functionality make it a must-have for those using piezo pickups or needing flexible EQ options. While it maintains the essence of its predecessor, the V2 enhances tonal clarity without losing the original tone's warmth. A few might find the mids control slightly nasal, but overall, it's a comprehensive tool for serious bass players.

AMP Lab – Radial Tonebone Bassbone V2 | Bass Gear Magazine

bassgearmag.com

The Radial Bassbone V2 impresses as a versatile, robust bass preamp pedal with dual input channels, flexible EQ options, and a quality DI output. Its standout features include a piezo booster, effects loop, and a variable-gain boost circuit, all housed in a durable, well-engineered enclosure. While the pedal offers extensive tonal flexibility and control, its complexity might require a learning curve for new users. The post-everything DI design gives comprehensive tonal control but may not suit all setups. With its clean signal processing and intuitive interface, the Bassbone V2 is a valuable tool for bassists seeking a command center for their rig.

RADIAL TONEBONE BASSBONE V2 - Mixdown Magazine

mixdownmag.com.au

The Radial Tonebone Bassbone V2 impresses with its dual-channel setup, allowing seamless bass changes mid-set. Its standout feature is the potent EQ, capable of mimicking distinct bass tones. The PZB booster circuit is a plus for piezo and magnetic pickup integration. While the boost footswitch offers useful versatility, the dedicated tuner output makes tuning easy. For those needing distortion, the blendable effects loop is a boon. It might be overkill for single bass users, but it’s a solid choice for bassists seeking enhanced flexibility and tonal control.

Two-channel bass preamp with low-Z balanced out

This is a great two-channel bass preamp with low-Z balanced out. It's really built like a tank, it has a polarity switch, tuner out, send return loop assignable to 1th, 2nd or both channels, boost/mute switch. Pretty much everything a bass player might need for a clean sound on gig or a studio recording.
