Millennium 5 AC BXP Review: If this bass got somehow stolen I would probably get another... | Peavey | Bass Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Peavey Millennium 5 AC BXP stands out with its versatile sound, thanks to its active electronics and mini humbuckers that mimic single coils. Players appreciate its solid build, with reliable strap buttons and a durable finish. However, the bass struggles with distortion and lacks a strong slap tone. The missing knob detracts from an otherwise well-crafted instrument. Overall, it's a great choice for rock and metal genres, with a stylish look that appeals to stage performers. Despite minor setbacks, it delivers impressive performance and value for money.

Best bass I own

I got this bass after playing a friends peavey millennium passive 4 string which I enjoyed the feel of so much I wanted my own. I decided to pay a bit more and go with the active model because I didn't have an active bass at the time and I'm so glad I did. The tone on this bass is incredible and very versatile and it feels great to play. Not to mention that the orange burst quilted top looks incredible. It runs 2 9v batteries and seems to last for ages despite daily play and the controls are very responsive and feel great. They lock into place at midpoint as well which makes it easier to dial in the eq that you want. Overall this is an incredible bass guitar.
