Great for shows!
I prefer using this bass on stage or as a rehearsal bass, but it just doesn't do it in the studio. Doesn't matter how hard i try to "fix it in the mix", I never get it to sound good in a recording. It's still my first bass that I've used on a lot of shows, even borrowing it out to a couple friends over a couple of days. Otherwise it plays great, it's light, it feels nice!
I recommend it if you're a stage player more so than a studio guy.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I usually have all the knobs set to the natural setting (12 o' clock) and max out the volume with the boost-switch off. I Don't like to mess with the setting so much, I might krank the treble knob a bit if I'm slapping :)
