Pioneer DJM-750 Professional DJ Mixer Review – DJBooth

djbooth.net

The Pioneer DJM-750 4-Channel DJ Mixer is a solid contender for DJs seeking professional-grade equipment at a competitive price. With a robust build and comprehensive effects suite, it promises club-standard sound quality. The mixer boasts an internal 4-in/4-out USB soundcard, extensive input/output options, and scratch-friendly crossfader. However, it's not all rosy—compatibility issues with popular software like Serato, Traktor, and Rekordbox might deter some users. While it shines in durability and sound quality, its limited software compatibility may be a dealbreaker for those reliant on these platforms.

Great budget alternative to the more high end mixers.

A real powerhouse of features are contained within this budget version of the Pioneer mixers. With the familiar layout of the industry standard mixers, the 750 instantly feels comfortable to use for anyone that has used a Pioneer mixer. The effects section is fully complemented with all the favourites and while the colour sound effects are only accessed through the one dial (instead of the per channel dials found on the more expensive models), the fact that this is still assignable to individual channels means creative flexibility is retained. The real bonus feature of this mixer is it's inbuilt sound card which allows direct connectivity to both Pioneer Rekordbox DJ and Traktor Scratch software. A fantastic, feature packed mixer which has all the features you'd expect from the high end models at a very reasonable price.

Superb mixer

A great professional mixer. Battle-tested on the beach in Barcelona, and beer-tested at more rowdy beer-flowing gigs. The sound quality is A1, and the effects, especially the filter are club-level and useful. The one thing this is missing is the ability to assign effects per track, but for most DJs, not a big issue given the ability to use controllers, such as the Traktor X1 to do that and more. Totally recommend this mixer.
