Remo Emperor clear used as batter head

I use these drumheads on all of my toms (10'',12'',14'',16'') as batter heads. They are absolutely incredible on a well tuned high end kit. The attack on them stands out immediately, giving super punchy sound to the toms. Great heads for rock, funk, fusion and those fast gospel church boys.

one more step boomier than it's coated version

If you are outdoors and want a little more boominess then don't go coated, go clear.
