An extraordinary tool for making music aimed at the NES soundchip

The PowerPak is a NES cartridge that, among many homebrew oriented applications, can play Nintendo Sound Format (NSF) files on a real system, and with a simple hardware mod it can even play NSF files with audio expansions enabled (though not all of them, more on that later), which were once only available to its Japanese equivalent, the Famicom. It's also the only hardware player I'm aware of that supports NSFs that use a custom playback rate, making it an especially invaluable tool for my setup. As mentioned earlier, one of the biggest downsides to the PowerPak is that not all audio expansions are supported, and even among the ones that are, a couple of them are not fully emulated.
