Description
The Florence Nova 40th Anniv Nat 5 Hollow Body 5-String Bass by Sandberg
The Sandberg Florence Nova 40th Anniv Nat 5 is a 40th anniversary hollowbody 5-string bass developed by Sandberg in collaboration with artist Victor Tugores. It focuses on a minimalist, resonant design where the natural tone of the woods is the main character, supported by a single soapbar pickup and fully passive electronics. The Natural (Nat) finish highlights the flamed maple top and alder body, giving it a more organic, stripped-back aesthetic compared to the Tobacco Burst version. It delivers a warm, open, and dynamic tone that reacts strongly to playing technique, making it ideal for expressive modern bass styles. Despite its boutique and artistic design, it remains highly playable and practical with a 34" scale and 24-fret layout.
