Badass 7 string from schecter.
This guitar is a heavy 7 string compared to my Solar. To me the heavier weight feels ''quality''. 26.5'' scale is perfect for down tuning and keeping string tension. I play mostly metal and currently tune it to A# standard. I'm not super fond of Tune-o-matic bridge (I find I prefer the fender style bridge for resting my palm during play/breaks) for me the Tune-o-matic makes me ''work'' harder with my pick hand but I have gotten used to it. I really like the neck-thru style on this, It gives the guitar a cleaner look. For pick-ups the C-7 Platinum is equipped with EMG 81 (bridge) and an EMG 85 (neck) which was one of the main reasons I got this model. The EMG 81 sounds intense with a tube amp and overdrive. Bright highs that cut through and give it a very 90s ''metal'' sound that I love.
