Description
Unleash the power of bass with the Spectrasonics Trilogy Total Bass Module, a virtual instrument plugin that beautifully marries a vast 3GB library of diverse bass sounds with a user-friendly interface. Whether you're a studio professional or an aspiring music producer, Trilogy offers an unrivaled range of sonic possibilities to bring your bass lines to life.
The Trilogy excels in delivering rich acoustic, electric, and synth bass sounds. Its detailed acoustic upright bass section, enhanced by separate controls for the Neumann U-47 Tube Microphone and Direct Pickup signals, offers an impressive array of tones. The unique True Staccato technique ensures that repeated notes sound naturally authentic, free from the typical "machine gun" effect.
For electric bass enthusiasts, Trilogy provides a treasure trove of classic 4, 5, and 6-string models, recorded using rare, custom-made tube preamps. From fingered to slapping techniques, every style is covered, complete with dynamic variations such as harmonics, glisses, and fuzz. The seamless mapping across all patches means you can effortlessly switch between basses without losing your groove.
Synth bass lovers will appreciate the high-resolution samples from legendary analog bass synths like the Minimoog and Roland Juno 60. Trilogy's multimode resonant filters and smooth analog synth-style legato and glide features add depth and authenticity, ensuring that your synth bass sounds sit perfectly in any mix.

pace considerations — Duffy's room at AIR was fairly small — dictated much of the equipment that he and Williams used during this early writing period. In addition to Duffy's guitars the duo mainly used a couple of keyboards, among them a Clavia Nord Lead, and Logic soft synths and plug-ins. "My little room wasn't large enough to have loads of keyboards set up," says Duffy, "so we used soft synths like [Spectrasonics] Stylus, Trilogy and Atmosphere, [NI] Reaktor, Logic 's ESX24 sampler and instruments, mostly the EVP88 Rhodes. Other soft synths we used a lot were the Moog Modular synth and the M-Tron Mellotron plug-in."
