Cool tool for when you want to alter a tuning or have an open note be on a certain fret throughout a whole song

My main complaint would be that it is much more difficult to move across the fretboard between or during a song than a traditional capo. But If you want to experiment with different tunings or having certain spots on the fretboard pressed throughout a song then this is for you.

Not a fan.

Not a fan. I have never felt secure that it will stay in place once screwed onto the neck. A more traditional capo works better for me.

Fiddly but changes your songwriting

Annoying to put on, to take off but opens some new possibilities. You could even use two capos on a guitar.
