The internal shock mount for the ribbon and magnet assembly provides additional protection, while the retro-style shockmount included allows for precise mic placement, minimizing vibrations and handling noise for a clean, isolated sound capture. This mic delivers a smooth, extended low end and a mellow top, making it a versatile choice for vocals and instruments alike. The SZ-R1's figure-8 polar pattern ensures a balanced sound with excellent side rejection, perfect for capturing the ambiance of the recording space without unwanted interference.
