In a tweet by Jacob Collier during his "Djesse Listening Party" held on the 6th of December 2020, he states how the original arrangement of 'Sky Above' from "Djesse Vol. 2" was recorded in a room in NYC during Autumn 2018.
At 13:04 in the YouTube video "EPIC HOME STUDIO Setup 2022 | Butch Walker (studio tour)" by Andrew Masters, an AEA R88mk2 stereo ribbon microphone is visible in Butch Walker’s home studio. Walker later mentions the microphone at 13:21, confirming its usage.
In a video titled "EPIC HOME STUDIO Setup 2024 | John Osborne (studio tour)" by Andrew Masters on YouTube, the AEA R88mk2 stereo ribbon microphone is visible on the Ludwig drum kit in John Osborne's tracking room at the 29:22 mark, and Osborne discusses this microphone further at 31:51.
