Description
Often described as the first great sounding solid state amplifier, the Beta was a revolutionary design when first launched. The unique analog MOSFET design provides a wide range of tones from clean to a distinctive fuzz like distortion that cleans up with the instrument volume control.
The Beta features two independent channels each with a full set of controls that can be used separately or blended using the included footswitch. Three effect loops provide a multitude of ways to integrate effects into your sound. The PL20 is a standard as 3U 19” rack mount format with optional head cabinet.
Features:
- CMOS: Unique MOSFET design is the foundation of the Beta sound. Create anything from clear cleans to high-gain, thick, saturated, fuzz like distortion.
- Preamp: Use with external power amp or sound reinforcement system to get the legendary Beta tone at any venue, or live setting
- Effects loops: Front and rear connections to three separate effects loops to expand and customize your tonal options even further by adding your personal effects to different points in the signal chain
