The Teisco EG-2 Montoya, also marketed under the Lucky, Festival, and Norma brands in the late 1960s, is a charming vintage electric guitar with a distinct “sixties” aesthetic. Its lightweight design, at only 2.24 kg, features a slim 3 cm body and compact format, making it extremely comfortable and easy to handle. Equipped with rare Gold Foil-style pickups with black covers, it delivers a unique tonal character reminiscent of a P90 but with its own identity. The guitar’s simple yet well-crafted construction , multipli body, mahogany neck, and rosewood Jacaranda fingerboard, ensures reliability and playability. Classic controls, including individual on/off switches for each pickup, a master volume and tone, plus an old-school vibrato, make it intuitive and expressive for vintage tones.
