The ECC81 (12AT7) Tube by Telefunken.
Is a Long smooth plate Ei 12AT7 Dual Triode.
Manufactured in Yugoslavia (now Serbia).
The Ei 12AT7 has high gain and superb linearity.
These tubes were manufactured to the original Telefunken specs, hence they look like and sound like the long smooth plate Telefunkens (17mm long).
O-getter, copper grid rods; built with Philips machinery.
The sound is very dynamic and detailed.Perfect for voices and complex sound stage.
In guitar amps it is a great driver stage tube providing the best headroom for the output stage.
