A proper, working guitarist's tool. Reliable and unpretentious

The Tokai Breezysound has been my #1 guitar since my London band days with Toxic Shock. Purchased around '85, I think. Lovingly made in Japan by people who care, I've never bothered 'upgrading' anything about this guitar. Pickups, bridge, tuners, pots are all original and all made by Gotoh. It faithfully produces all of the tones you would expect from a guitar of this design, and has always been a pleasure to play.

my go-to practice guitar

I do love a tele, and this affordable Tokai is a lovely workhorse of an axe. this is the guitar I pick up when i'm just playing about at home. It is a little bright, as tele's are, and I can't see the Knobs and switches lasting particularly, BUT the tones are worth it, and the parts are cheap to replace
