Amazing

Is an old and discontinued instrument from Washburn. It was made in the nineties before the Lyon series came up. Don't know the origins (Korean, Indonesia or what), but the finish, the bridge, the tuners, the nut, the fretboard, the body, everything is amazing. Can't talk about stock pickups (Never had much luck with that on Washburn basses), but I bought mine used and it came with DS Pickups (Argentinian pickups which are pretty darn cool), so, is fucking nice bass

90s washburn is 100% MIK... not sure bout the Lyon guitars, but if its made after about '88 and its washburn its Korea. Indonesia was late to the party and earlier washburns are mainly MIJ and damned nice. Interestingly Gibson oved Epi to Korea even earlier. people don't realize it but they did. The very early epis from Korea are actually nicer than the 80s MIJ ones and they;'re way icer than the bolt on 70s ones. The earliest MIK washburns are of similar excellent quality although I don't think the Gibson-style models have overfret binding like the early MIK epis.
