Description
Step into the realm of musical excellence with the Yamaha P-250, a powerhouse in portable and arranger keyboards. Designed with both the stage and studio in mind, this keyboard is a favorite among professional musicians who demand authenticity and versatility. The P-250 brings an unparalleled piano experience to your fingertips, thanks to its Graded Hammer 88-note weighted action keyboard. This feature mimics the nuanced touch of a grand piano, with keys that are heavier in the lower registers and lighter in the higher ones, offering an authentic playing experience.
But it’s not just about the feel—it's about the sound. Yamaha’s P-250 is equipped with sophisticated sampling technology, boasting three levels of Yamaha CFIII Grand piano stereo samples. This means every note you play is rich, resonant, and dynamically responsive to your touch, capturing the essence of a live performance. Complementing this is the onboard speaker system, powered by a high-performance stereo amplifier and 16cm polypropylene woofers, ensuring your sound is projected with clarity and power, whether you're practicing at home or performing on stage.
With an impressive array of features including a 16-track song recorder, digital effects, and MIDI capabilities, the Yamaha P-250 is not just an instrument; it’s a complete music-making solution that invites creativity and expression.

For the May 2015 issue of "Yamaha Music Magazine", Chris Stainton stated in a written interview, that he used a Yamaha CP-70 electric grand piano, a Yamaha CP-1 electric keyboard as well as a Yamaha P250 keyboard: "I've had a lot of Yamaha keyboards over the years. I had a Yamaha organ in the '70s. And I had a CP70 electric grand piano. Before the CP1, I played a P250, which I thought was fantastic. But the CP1 tops even that. It truly feels like a piano."
