Chino Moreno

In this video from the 2013 Long Beach Guitar Center Expo, Chino Moreno can be seen using a Gibson SG Standard electric guitar.

In a live performance of "Change" on the Late Show with David Letterman in 2000, Chino Moreno of Deftones is seen playing the ESP LTD Viper 301. This Korean-made solid body electric guitar features 24 jumbo frets, abalone flag inlays, a mahogany body with a transparent dark cherry finish, passive electronics, and two EMG-HZ passive humbuckers.

Judging by the tailpiece underneath Moreno’s right hand, this could be a Fender Baritone Jaguar. Could’ve been used around the time of Team Sleep/SNW, since during that touring cycle Moreno relied on a modified Strat instead of his regular ESP LTD Viper.

As you can see in the video he is playing an Epiphone SG. Not sure which model specifically but I’m fairly sure it’s a modded g400 of some sort. He has C. Moreno written on the truss rod cover and gold hardware. It looks like a signature model but I can’t find any information about him having a signature Epi. He also said in an interview with Total Guitar: "This one is slightly different, though very similar in feel. The body on this one is a little thinner. I bought it from Guitar Center. It's a great guitar, though not quite my number one. I'm working with Epiphone right now, and they're hopefully going to make me a version to the exact specs of my main one.”

At 0:13 in the video "Deftones - Change (In the house of flies) - live (White Pony release show)" by Le SOADER on YouTube, you can see that Chino Moreno is using an ESP Viper VP-200. This is evident from the set-neck design, the dot inlays (as opposed to flag inlays), and the metal-covered pickups on his guitar.
